I think that this woman used her debit card too much. Identity theft is more common because it's hard to track down the people responsible. You could get somebodies identity just by finding their credit card. To protect against identity theft you can try to use cash more often and monitor your credit reports. I think that they are both responsible for her getting her identity stolen.

The woman used her credit card to much. I think that it is so common problem these days because people are getting laid off and they dont hahve any money so they steal other peoples. People would have to obtain their social security number, and their credit card number as well. I would suggest to people to use cash more or something and to be careful. I think they are both to blame

1. This lady used her card more than she should've.
2. I think identity theft is a common problem becasue with the economy people do anything to have money, and it is hard to track who stole the identity sometimes.
3. Someone would have to obtain social security numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, passwords, ect.
4. Don't be too carefree with using your card, meaning make sure you don't go spend crazy. Also keep track of your purchases and make sure there isn't purchases you didn't make on your bill. Keep your information as safe as possible too.
5. I think it is a combination of both because some people aren't cautious enough and don't care, while others are too hungry for money and go to extreme measures and steal.

Jordan:I agree that it's hard to track down the identity thefts.
Jessie: I agree that using cash would be a good alternative.

i think the lady shouldn't have used her card so much, and she should have checked the area around her to see if anyone was trying to get her card number and stuff.
